Some pieces just speak to you! This low 9/500 limited edition print is just drop dead stunning, while at the same time being very calming and peaceful. Probably where the name "Tranquilty" comes from. A large whale, in the process of diving through lush blue water can just be made out from its shadows. Due to the saturation of the color the blue is just lush. Great piece for anywhere you want a calming influence in your life! This is a piece you can just stop what you are doing and gaze at in a mediative place. Definately a way to shut out the noise and stress of your daily life. Put a calming presence on your wall, and see if your day doesn't improve!
Here's the technical stuff:
The piece is in pristine condition, with triple matting and a gold wood frame under glass. Done by the Colorado artist Richard M. Kohen, "Tranquility" is from 1989 and has been lovingly managed. All in shades of blue, very peaceful and well done whale print. Back has an intact dust cover, hanging hardware and envelope with the COA. Limited Edition, retired, low number 9/500, signed and numbered, bottom right by artist. Absolutely beautiful. This is a larger and heavier piece, need room and a wall with a stud, framed 22x30x2, interior image 15x23.
