Bring a bit of your Italian visit back with you to the states with an artist original pen and ink drawing of Farrara Castle The Castello Estense (‘Este castle’) or castello di San Michele (‘St. Michael's castle’) is a moated medieval castle in the center of Ferrara, northern Italy. Construction was started in 1385 and this is a outer moat view done by the artist with the last name of Herrain or Herriar for a Texas decorating firm. While this has been reframed (blog on that is coming) it was tastefully done in an unusual wooden swirled frame and is not matted to shine the light on the image. There has been room left for you to consider adding a mat of your choice to the framing.

Unmatted but professionally reframed in an unusual, rounded cut frame. Framed 11x15, image 10x14 portrait orientation. Under glass, with new backing and wire hanging hardware. Artist information on back, signed and titled in pencil on bottom. No image physical tearing, slight handing waving on bottom. Pencil X for former framing on top right. Slight frame rub on lower left side. Framing is tight and newer than image. Wall hanging weight 3 lbs 7 oz.
